We loved the hotel's location overlooking the beautiful coast. It's perfect for those seeking quiet and peaceful areas away from touristy places. The staff was very responsive and accommodating. They welcomed us with a delicious espresso and upgraded our room. The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, making it easy for us to find places to eat and shop. Breakfast was also a highlight as it was delicious and had plenty of options.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel in the heart of a charming village. The location was absolutely perfect, with stunning views of the mountains and a quaint village atmosphere. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was lovely, with a rooftop balcony where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch and the housekeeping service was impeccable.
The only downside I could find was the breakfast selection, as it sometimes lacked variety and certain items were occasionally missing. However, I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly enchanting experience.

The hotel is a beautiful old style building with excellent service and friendly staff. The breakfast room was enchanting, the food was very good and the town is very interesting. Views from the town towards Lamezia are quite stunning as there is a panoramic view point only a short walk from the hotel. Really good for a couple of nights stay or if you have transport, it is not far to the coast.

I found this hotel by chance as I don't like beach hotels, and what a find. It is a small friendly hotel run by Francesco and his team sitting at the back of an average sized town at the bottom of the mountains. Situated just 300 metres walk from the town centre it is so quiet and relaxing. The most astounding thing for me was the breakfast, whilst still providing all of the basics, no two breakfasts were the same simply by just changing a few things everyday. The restaurant is a beautifuly appointed room with large windows and a clear dome roof. This is one of the hotels where I will return to again. Whilst not having a car park there is ample safe street parking.
This is not a complaint but to get the most out of your stay you do need a car as it a long way from the nearest station.

Our visit to this historical hotel offered us a unique experience in Southern Italy, away from tourist areas. the hotel is conveniently located just off the main square, making it a great choice for those looking to explore the local community. the rooms were spacious and cozy, with exceptional service provided by the friendly staff. the breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was strong and flavorful. We also enjoyed the proximity to local restaurants, which helped us to introduce the local cuisine to our palates.
The cigarette smoke from other patrons in the lobby and pub was overwhelming and caused discomfort.

The warm welcome and helpfulness of owner and staff was a delight. We wish we had time to spend a few more days. The breakfast and especially the evening meal was in a word 'exceptional.' We look forward to having the opportunity to plan another visit in the future when in the area.

The kitchen was extraordinary - had the seafood pasta and their homemade strawberry tiramisu and wish I'd had room for the secondi piatti as the neighbours table looked to die for.... Room was far from a boring hotel and provided great character and the town Filadelphia felt very genuine Southern Italian.
If you don't have the luxury of a car rental, be sure to suitably plan ahead. The train station is 15km from the town up hill on roads without pavements so not much chance to walk it, but if you call the hotel they can arrange transfers (they charged us €25 although this seemed a bit adhoc). Also, not worlds to do in Filadelphia - off season anyway...

The food was out of this world, situated in a superb mountain town. Our stay was a real treat and we will most certainly be staaying there again.
The only thing against this hotel is that it didn't have it's own car park. It didn't bother me I just parked outside in the road.

Despite some issues, I had an alright stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruits and bread. The location was great, located in the heart of the old town with plenty of churches to explore. The balcony view was lovely, perfect for a quiet afternoon with a book.
The smell of cigarette smoke lingered and it was unpleasant. The Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby and not in the room.

Excellent welkom with glass of Spumante and friendly staff. Diner in the hotel was not verry good, breakfeast was perfect. In the center of a little village, no good public transportation. For vacation with the car it seems perfect.

We had a most pleasant stay at L'antico Borgo. Franchesco was a very good host to us and very obliging. Filadelfia is a 15-20 minute enjoyable drive from the beach/A3/SS18 and has a lot of character. The cottage which we had was adequately furnished and spacious with a sunny balcony. Although our next visit to the area will be to stay in our own place ,we feel lucky to have a quality restaurant and it's charming surroundings nearby.

The hotel is situated in a charming area, with picturesque views and plenty of things to do. the staff is friendly and welcoming, willing to help with anything you need. the breakfast selection is great, with fresh fruit, local meats, and a variety of pastries.
The rooms could use some updating, including better lighting and newer furnishings. the Wi-Fi signal is weak and unreliable.

This was one of the best hotels that we stayed at during our trip to Italy. I was visiting my home town and the staff was exceptional!! Francesco and Vincenzo and the rest of the staff catered to any of our needs. The dinner at the hotel was fantastic! We had to leave very early in the morning so we were not able to enjoy breakfast...but Francesco made a point to give us a voucher to one of the restaurants in the town for a free breakfast if we were able. This hotel puts a some of the so called 4 star hotels that we stayed at to shame. This is a must stop hotel when in the area.
The setting and the location...very romantic.
